Iwa in Chinese / Japanese...

反戰 means antiwar, as in what a pacifist believes in.

China does plenty of saber-rattling but thankfully doesn't go to war very often, and Japan has embraced a pacifist ideology. Therefore, it's rare to need this word. However, this is the kind of word that war protesters would write on their signs.

There is a modern Japanese version of the second character which has become the standard in Japan after WWII. 岩 is a Chinese, Japanese, and old Korean word that means cliff, rock, boulder, or anchor.

This Kanji can also be Japanese surnames that romanize as Iwayanagi, Iwahama, Iwazagi, Iwazaki, Iwasaki, Iwagazaki, Iwao, Iwa, or Iiwasaki.

This is the martial arts style Iwama Ryu Japanese Kanja.

伊萬 is the name Iwan in Chinese (Mandarin).

イワン is the most common way to write Iwan in Japanese Katakana.

イワン is also an alternate way to write Ivan.

極め is a transitive verb that means to carry to extremes, to go to the end of something, to investigate thoroughly, or to master.

Kiwame is a strange selection for calligraphy artwork, but many were searching for it. 極め (or just 極 without め) is used “off-definition” for some video games.

キワメー is the name Kiwame in Japanese (Katakana).

心の平和 means “heart of peace” or “peaceful heart” in Japanese.

This colloquial Japanese greeting means hello, or good day.

こにちわ is the common greeting for daytime or afternoon (after morning, before the sun sets).

施萬 is the name Shiwan in Chinese (Mandarin).

台灣 is the Chinese name for the Republic of China which is more commonly known as Taiwan.

The island of Taiwan is actually considered a renegade province of mainland China. It became the last holdout of the former government of China after Chairman Mao took power during the revolution that followed WWII.

Note: There are a few ways to write Taiwan: 台湾 / 薹灣 / 台灣.
