I've been overwhelmed with more than 30 emails per day (with many complex questions, that's up to 5 hours of email replies each day).
I had a choice of raising artwork prices, charging a fee for answers, or starting the Asian art forum.
By starting the forum, I think I chose the best option for myself & my beloved customers.
This also works out well for me, as the same question you ask on our forum may help 10 other customers who want the same information. This has reduced my question and answer workload by nearly 50%!
The result: We've avoided raising artwork prices for everyone!

May 2009 Update: We've recently moved to a larger suite nextdoor to our previous location. We are hoping to continue opening to the public monthly during The Ray at Night Art Walk in North Park, San Diego in the near future.
