This wall scroll features Li Jing, the King of the Heavenly Pagoda carrying the pagoda in his hands as he traverses the heavens.

Li Jing is renowned throughout the Shang Dynasty as a high-ranking commander officer of the Old Pond Pass. Throughout his past, Li Jing had studied under Superior man Danger Skipper of Mount Kunlun and had soon become a master of exceedingly fast underground travel. Through a series of events and acts of his sons, he became a deity of Chinese mythology.

The characters after the title (天王 or Heaven's King) are 戊子年中奇作 which indicates this was painted in 2008 by Zhong.

This is an extremely large wall scroll. Use care when unrolling and hanging this.
