Chinese Yellow Mountain (Huang Shan) Landscape

Known as "Huang Shan" in Chinese, Yellow Mountain is one of the oldest tourist attractions in the world. For thousands of years it has inspired poets, artists, and onlookers alike.

I recommend that you come to China to see if for yourself, but if you can't, having this painting on your wall is a wonderful compromise.

Painted by linan (Li Nan) in 2004. The title is actually a poem about the freedom, smells, clouds, and overall experience of Yellow Mountain.

This is painted on special xuan paper (rice paper) with a traditional silk brocade matting/border. Painted entirely with watercolors and Chinese black ink.
