春曉

Spring Dawn Poem

The text of this poem is:
春眠不覺曉,處處聞啼鳥。
夜來風雨聲,花落知多少。

This translates roughly as:
Sleeping in spring without realizing dawn, hearing birds singing everywhere.
The sound of wind and rain at night, how many flowers fall.

Another version:
On a spring night, I slept soundly and didn't know it was dawn. When I woke up, I only heard birds singing everywhere.
Thinking of the sound of wind and rain last night, how many flower petals fell?
