This is a replica of an ancient article written by Zhou Dunyi during the Song Dynasty (960-1279 A.D.). At that time, various poets or writers would create articles like this. They read someone like poetry, but are more like prose written about a certain subject. In ancient times, these articles were collected by people and often bound into personal books.
This calligraphy artwork is made up of stamps made from carved stones, as well as hand-painted Chinese characters. This is truly a unique piece of artwork that celebrates a practice from 1000 years ago.
