巴山蜀水好風光

Great View - Landscape Wall Scroll

The title means "Ba Shan" (or "Ba Mountain") of Sichuan [Province] [and the] Waters [that flow nearby] [yield] Great Natural Views. To make it more natural in English, it would be, "The Great Views of Sichuan's Ba Mountain Falls".

A nice wall scroll featuring a southern Chinese home scene surrounded by mountains. A waterfall flows near this village home (great Feng Shui in this piece).

The Chinese characters written on the painting include the title, as noted above, the artist's signature, and when it was painted (2008).

The artist's name is 李染 (Li Ran) from near Chengdu in Sichuan Province. You might just call him Mr. Lee, as his surname is the same as Bruce Lee. Note: Lee = Li.

I don't have a lot of info on this artist. I just liked his work a lot, and bought a few pieces from the studio.
