Scroll making & repair education

I was hoping someone might know of any opportunities to get ones self educated in scroll making and repair (traditional methods if possible) in the Houston, TX or Dubai/Abu Dhabi UAE areas?. I split my time between the two locations currently

Outside of China, I think there's still a place the does a class like this. However, the main focus is on creating the artwork, with mounting being secondary. Pretty sure there's nothing in UAE or Texas.
