June 14th earthquake benefit and married to China story

First of, I want to wish you guys lots of luck tonight, I hope the benefit is a GREAT success. I think it is wonderful what you are doing.

Secondly I read your "Married to China" story and loved it. It is such a lovely story, I found myself smiling as I read it. thank you for sharing it.

I didn't even realize that story was still floating around our website. My wife and I have had two kids since I even touched or updated that story.

As far as the earthquake benefit, I think we did okay. I don't think anyone came because they saw it on our website. It just happened to be the night for a local art walk, and people learned of it from signs we posted.

We raised about $150 for the Red Cross that night. It might not be much in the greater scope of things, but it's better than nothing.
