need help with a translation

Post by earth_dragon » Oct 7, 2013 10:05 am

Hi,

I already have the traditional Chinese symbol for Dragon as a tattoo and am extending it. I want to extend it to read 'earth dragon horse rising' or 'earth dragon ascendant horse' in traditional Chinese symbols.

Please help as I cant find agreeing things online and I want it to be accurate, I do have the symbols for earth, dragon and horse but rising or ascendant is causing the problems

OK, I talked to a few Chinese translators about this for you. Everyone thinks it's going to sound strange and/or look like a tattoo accident/mistake. It's the "rising horse" or "ascendant horse" part that throws them for a loop.

If you want dragon and horse, try this:
http://www.orientaloutpost.com/shufa.php?q=Dragon+Horse

If you want to see more kinds of horses and horse titles, check this out:
http://www.orientaloutpost.com/dictionary.php?q=horse

I can build tattoo templates for a small fee when you settle on what you want.

Cheers,
-Gary.
