For not dishonor the ancient chinese culture

Post by Augusto_ARG » Nov 24, 2012 6:02 pm

Dear Gary:

My name is Augusto, and i'm from Argentina. first of all, i want to congratulate you for the site, it's really great and is the only one web site i found that really show a huge respect for this culture, what is really important when you're looking for a dependable source.
i'm contacting with you because i'm planning to make a tatto on my back, that reflex a commitment with myself to change my lifestyle and start over again. i really admire the chinese culture and love the calligraphy, so i decided to make it part of me and carry with me for the rest of my life.
was searching for the words "commitment" (to follow principles of bushido) and "Brave/courage" (to mantain this commitment). Also found that this last word is one of the codes of samurai.

would be very grateful if you could help me find the correct symbols and thus respect the Chinese calligraphy.

P.D.: I do not speak English and I'm using a translator, I hope you understand the text.

Thank you very much!

¡Hola Augusto!

Gary, thank you very much for your answer. What I'm looking for are the words "commitment" and "courage".

contexts of each are:

Commitment to follow the codes of bushido
Courage to carry out and maintain the commitment.

Thank you very much, and again apologize for my typos

saludos desde Argentina!

If for separate wall scrolls, I would select the second entry on this page:
http://www.orientaloutpost.com/courage.php

For commitment, I would use the 2nd or 4th entry on this page:
http://www.orientaloutpost.com/commitment.php

Click on the "Select and Customize" button to proceed with customizing your wall scrolls.
