Help identifying, Chinese & Japanese figurines

Post by jax » Dec 5, 2016 5:28 am

Hello to you all
it would be great if someone could help me identifying these 2 figurines...

I don't know where it's from and what it's worth?
Is it bone? Is it Chinese ?
They are both about 40 cm high
Thanks a lot
Jax

I don't know the first one, but the second one (with the beard) is the god of prosperity and affluence:

If you need appraisal advice, start with this article that I wrote 9 years ago:

I just updated the links in that article, so all should be up to date.
