This is a good painting for a business man, as eight horses are a sign of success in Chinese culture.
The title is "Running Horses". Along with that title, the rest of the Chinese characters include the artist's signature, a special way to express the year painted (2007) in Chinese characters.
The artist's name is Yan Yong, from near Chengdu, China. He is a good friend of Huang Xin-An (an artist that we buy a lot of artwork from in Chengdu).
This is painted on xuan paper (rice paper) and mounted with a gold silk border at our workshop.
