Known as "Huang Shan" in Chinese, Yellow Mountain is one of the oldest tourist attractions in the world. For thousands of years it has inspired poets, artists, and onlookers alike.
I recommend that you come to China to see if for yourself, but if you can't, having this painting on your wall is a wonderful compromise.
Painted by (Li Nan) in 2004. The title is actually a poem about the freedom, smells, clouds, and overall experience of Yellow Mountain.
This is painted on special xuan paper (rice paper) with a traditional silk brocade matting/border. Painted entirely with watercolors and Chinese black ink.
