The Chinese title written on this piece suggests that these foxes are on alert. Also in the inscription is an indication that it was painted in 2006 (we bought and mounted this artwork in 2008). The artist's name is Kang Shou-Sheng, which is the final characters of the inscription (serving as the artist's signature). The artist is from Shandong Province near the capital city of Jinan.
