This artwork is discounted because of a lacquer line or spot in the artwork. This is a very light and minor issue, also. Note: You cannot see this spot in the image above.
Let me explain about lacquer: When the artist finishes the charcoal drawing, some lacquer is sprayed over the drawing to keep it from smudging. In this case, some of the lacquer seems to have pooled and left a ghost or shadow in a small area.
